Future Railroads
ATSF Raton Pass

D & RGW
Timber Creek Division

Owner: Jack and Jared Fogle

Jack and Jared’s Railroad is a version of a facetious branch off the D&RGW through the Colorado Rockies. The time period of this railroad is late 40’s early 50's. The railroad includes: Timber Creek Yard, Cascade Junction (A.K.A the staging yard), San Juan Yard, Tin Cup Mine and two Turntables. The railroad runs over 17 Locomotives, which includes two 2-8-0, eight 2-8-2, two 0-8-0, one 0-6-0, one 4-6-0 and three shays.

During the operating session the railroad moves 2 scheduled passenger trains, 6 Extra West and East trains, and 4 Ore trains. The railroad sits in 13x10 room. All engines are consistent with time era, which means that they are steam engines, all are equipped with sound, and controlled by NCE-DCC system. Operations consist of timetable, car cards and train orders, to control movements of trains. The clock is set at a 6:1 scale. The jobs include 2 Yard Masters, one Dispatcher, one Mine Switcher and 5 Road Crews. Sessions are scheduled on the second Sunday of the month at four P.M.
